This plant is engaged in mechanical, manual and biological treatment of municipal waste of Sofia city to produce refuse derived fuel (RDF) that can be used in a district heating facility, commercial power plants or cement plants and CLO that can be used for landscaping or silviculture (but excluding spreading on or incorporation within land used for food production). Installed capacity is 410,000t/ year.
